Tips for Preparing Nebosh IGC Exam :
Collect the nebosh igc course materials well in advance and start your preparations and attend tution classes with private study.
Use a bilingual dictionary during your preparation and add meaning to the technical words you feel while preparing.
Prepare a simple mind mapping on a chart and hang on the walls in your room, so whenever you see the topics as image it will record in your memory easily.
Revise as many time as possible till you get confident with the topics.
Prepare your own questions or use collect the previous questions from the Tutor and write assignment and practice. This improves your memory skill and writing practice.

Every one have their own skills and memory power while preparing. Certain students may spend less time for preparing a page where as others may take bit more time for preparing a page. Identify your weakness in preparation then spend adequate time for preparation.

Concentrate on the handwriting, if your hand writing is not clear then the examiner cannot award marks to you.
Write question numbers to all the questions – do not forget to do this. Answers without question number will not get marks, never give a chance to the examiner to reduce marks for simple reason.
Never try to attend a tough question, start with the question which you feel confident and follow the sequence rather than challenging your knowledge and wasting your time on the tough question.
Even if you don’t know the answer never leave any question, try to provide some relevant answers because there is negative marks for the wrong answer. If the point which you wrote relevant to the question there is positive chance that you may get some marks.
There are certain common points which can fit to most of the questions, For instance – Carrying out Risk assessment, Top management commitment and leadership; Communication and consultation with employees; information instruction and training; PPE with other suitable control measures etc., Remember these common points.
Keep and eye on the TIME during your exam.
